For 30 years, the FAST program has served as a catalyst for positive change in the lives of thousands of children and families across culture, languages, and socio-economic classes in the U.S. and in countries around the world. In 1988, Dr. Lynn McDonald founded FAST, a pioneer prevention and early intervention program focused on strengthening families through evidenced-based practices. Since then, FAST has evolved with the changing needs of school communities and the rise of the family engagement field. Today, FAST continues to empower parents, strengthen families, and build communities engaged in children’s well-being and education.
