The clearest success story that came out of the most recent cycle was the relationship that formed between two of the young moms, "Tonya" and "Jenny". At the beginning of the cycle Jenny was 14, seven and a half months pregnant ans was just about to start as a freshman in high school. She had expressed fear and isolation and shared that many of her middle school friends did not want anything to do with her anymore. Through Smart Start Baby FAST, she met Tonya, a junior who already had a four month old child. They can be seen at school together and Jenny would spend lots of time at Baby FAST holding Tonya's baby. Tonya, looking forward to after Jenny gives birth says, "I expect to get a lot of late night phone calls!" Tonya is an incredible support to Jenny and they genuinely look out for each other.
