Families & Schools Together offers expanded support for FAST Providers during the initial training cycle and throughout subsequent cycles in the form of specialized trainings. FAST® Specialized Trainings are content-specific trainings for FAST Team Members designed to enhance your program’s effectiveness.
FAST Learning Extensions (Webinar)
FAST Learning Extensions are 1.5 hour-long live webinars hosted by our expert, in-house FAST Program Specialists and Certified FAST Trainers. Through interactive Q&A sessions, discussions, and case studies, FAST Team Members and Providers will deepen their knowledge of the program, gain insight into the latest research, ensure program integrity and increase program effectiveness all from the comfort of their home, school, or office. We will be offering 13 FAST Learning Extensions, all of which are topic-based and cover everything from program components like Special Play to Recruitment and Retention. Sites may provide this training for their Team Members or Site Coordinators as a form of professional development, a refresher, or, if it is necessary, to increase program integrity in a certain area or activity within FAST.
Note: One (1) free FAST Learning Extension will be provided with an order of the FAST Evaluation & Services Package.

FASTWORKS® Training (Webinar or in-person)
This FASTWORKS Training, led by expert Certified FAST Trainers, is designed to support the development of a FASTWORKS Program by focusing entirely on FASTWORKS elements and supporting the organization of a cohesive FASTWORKS structure. Parent Leaders, Team Members, and Site Coordinators will receive training on helping graduate parents to establish a mission statement, sustain and continue Special Play, and blend graduate families of subsequent FAST Cycles. This option will equip the site to deliver the maximum benefit that a FASTWORKS Program can offer to families and communities.
Cost: $500 for webinar (two 1.5 hour sessions); $1,000 for in-person (one day) (Trainer travel not included)
When: Scheduled on an as needed basis. Recommended before families graduate or on 6th week of first FAST Cycle to introduce the concept of FASTWORKS, and to allow time for planning for the FASTWORKS programming.
Who: Parent Leaders, Team Members, Site Coordinators, Program Coordinators, with a maximum of 6 people.
FAST New Team Member Training (Webinar or in-person)
The New Team Member Training (in-person) is a one-day training led by an expert Certified FAST Trainer for newly recruited, untrained Team Members joining an existing and eligible FAST Team. Those who prefer the webinar version will receive three 1.5 hour long sessions. This training will equip new Team Members with the knowledge and practice needed to be effective administrators of the program. With this high-fidelity option, sites will be able to ensure quality FAST Programs, knowing that each Team Member has received the necessary training to implement FAST with a solid understanding of the program components and values.
Cost: $750 for webinar (three 1.5 hour sessions); $1,000 for in-person (one day) (Trainer travel not included)

Who: Newly recruited, untrained Team Members joining an existing and eligible FAST Team.
