COVID-19 Update

To our FAST community:

Families & Schools Together (FAST) is diligently monitoring the rapidly changing conditions of the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) from our international office in Madison, WI. We value the health, safety, and well-being of our children, families, partners, staff, and community, and we understand that many of our partner organizations are dealing with the impacts of this virus. Like every organization, we are following advice from the Center for Disease and Prevention (CDC) and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) to determine the appropriate adjustments to when, where, and how we work. We continue to consult these recommendations as we plan our response in this ever-changing environment. Further communication will be forthcoming as our plans materialize.

UPDATE AS OF MARCH 18, 2020

FAST International has decided to temporarily close our Madison headquarters and have all staff work remotely starting March 18 and continuing through April 10, 2020. In addition to working remotely, we are taking a variety of steps to help minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus, such as conducting virtual meetings, canceling public meetings at our offices, and restricting business travel. Our office phone systems will forward messages via email to staff, whom will respond as appropriate.

We are committed to keeping our staff, families, and community safe as we continue to follow guidelines provided by the CDC and WI DHS. Updates or additional changes will be communicated as available. Please be patient with us as we transition to this process.

Warm regards,
Toni K. Rivera Joachin
